Everybody can be good if you use them properly. I would rather take gamble on Ekdal or Marrone instead of paying his third 3m. I can name a dozen of players who can do his job and earn much less.

We need to step up. 3/4 of this squad needs to be upgraded. Poulsen is just one of them. But if we are happy with our current situation, he can stay for 2 more years then leave for free. He is already 30, we won't find a customer after this summer.

~22-24 matches per season since he's at Udine.

He had one big injury and after that he has been missing matches more often. Very good player but I personally wouldn't gamble because our CB spot should be top notch next season. We can't afford him missing out many matches.

Don't think he is that injury prone

It was one major injury over a year ago with a small recurrence but I think it's over. He would my ideal, realistic pick.
