No one is talking about his sitaution NOW, because as unfortunate as it is, its not much to say as an outsider. But Gio when he came back to Juve, and was dominating the Azzurrini, he was hailed by every single god damn calcio profile there is. Capello, Zoff, Sacchi, Zola, you name it, they proclaimed him to a real special talent and future of Italy and so on. He did not get a shortage of praise.

And there been murmurs of Juve not using their youngsters well enough in the club (usually in constrast to when Santon and Balo got their chance in Inter), but yeah not much can be said when he is benched even if he performs or such. Just gets repetetive otherwise.

I cant say much about what kinda plaudits Candreva gets in Italy, but its surely far from what Gio got (Del piero comparisons all the time).

P.S I agree that he is ignored NOW, and fyi dont think he should leave, but he didnt receive too little attention mostly when he shined IMO. Atleast not less then Candreva as you make it seem like (and yes, Candreva is NOT as good as him).
Osman, Candreva is getting so much love right now. Even Lapo Elkann was talking about him.

Ofcourse they are, its easy to like a useful young italian player. Doesnt mean its more then the kind of praise Gio got, he got from everywhere, not just Juventini.

Until when should he stick around waiting for his opportunity Os?
Thats a good question, this season its fvcked up for him by injuries and a very confused Ciro (it was a no win sitaution for Gio). But IMO its adamant the new coach is one that likes him and has (atleast some) use for him. Otherwise its sadly done and dusted with him and Lavecchia signora.

Thats why I selfishly assess coaches by types who would use him for liking his type of player he is. Hiddink factor was due to that a little in why I wanted him. 4-3-3 formation with type of wingplay Gio excells in. I think our most probable coach we can get, and who I think we will get, in Prandelli, will suit Gio fine too. It wont be hard to find a coach who would use him, aslong as they arent the Ranieri conservative type who have no room for that kind of player.

Until the new Juve coach tells him what are his plans. Sure starter, occasional starter, not counting on him at all etc. Depending on the answer Gio should decide what to do.
Giovinco has been injured since the moment Zaccheroni came. The statements that Seba hasn't been given a chance under 3 different coaches in Juve are wrong. Giovinco didn't even have a chance to play under Zaccheroni. He was injured before Juve-Milan (in Ferrara's time), he came back for 2-3 days before he got injured again, which he still is.

Oh really? I thought he got injured a few weeks into Zacheroni's tenure. My bad.

So do you think Zac is going to give him the opportunities he didn't get under Ranieri and Ciro?? If he is, and he gave Giovinco assurances, then maybe it is wiser to stay. But if not, and if he treated Gio like the previous two coaches, then i stand by my opinion that he should leave.

When is Giovinco scheduled to be back anyway??

Apparently we are interested in signing Gourcuff. 30 m €

:excited:
Some rumours dont make sense, its like us wanting to sign a top goalie when we have Gigi. We wont sign any trequartista when we have Diego.
