Unload trash can

Chimenti, Cannavaro, GRYGERA, Zebina, Salihamidzic, Poulsen, Grosso, Amauri, Tiago, Almiron, Molinaro, Paolucci, Palladino.

Bring

Reliable Sports Director and Manager, Caceres, Candreva, Criscito, Ekdal, Ariaudo and splash mega :money: for a world class defender, right winger and striker.

30 from trash can + 50 million could do this.

Defence
Out-Canna, Sali, Grygera, Zebina, Grosso, Moli.
DC out on loan for a year.
Sign Caceres, Kjaer, Kolarov/Tremoulinas, Rafinha/Motta.
+ 1 LB and 1 RB (preferably young, talented).
I dont care if we spend much on attack or midfield this should be done first

Let's sign Jack Rodwell.

I like that guy.
He has looked rather impressive whenever i've seen him.

Like Hustini said(I could be wrong). We need a RB, CB, LB, CM, ST. Five purchases. Or let's not even worry about the front man, and just concentrate in our defense and midfield.

I've been reading a lot of good things from Fred, Aush, and other forum members. about Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko, it seems this player could defend, attack, has some good play-making skills and he's only 20 years old. I wouldn't mind another Sissoko as our only midfield purchase for this upcoming mercato.

By the way, Candreva's performances have been impressive lately, I have a feeling will buy his half at the end of the season, I don't know much about Caceres, his price tag would be our only stumbling block to sign him permanently.
Moussa gave yet another dominating performance against Marseille yesterday. Top class midfielder, he's even added consistency to his game.

Hazard, Moussa and Pjanic are the three players i am sure will make it big from the Ligue.

I watched the Tottenham- Blackburn game last night. Tottenham have a pretty good team with Modric, Defoe, Pacluchenko who scored twice and Bale who was particullarly good in the first half. But most of all I was impressed with Palacios!
defensively he was all over the place as he helped out in defence when needed but was a rock in midfield as well and all match long he sprayed his passes to the forwards and wingers.
He was the engine of his side. I didn't know him that well but I was impressed!
maybe someone we should take a closer look at.

Palacios has always been impressive, ever since his Wigan days. I'd actually argue that he was more important to Wigan than Valencia.

Though he really needs to work on his positional sense imo, he gets caught out of position way too much due to the fact that he wants to run after every ball. He's good, but he would be a big risk.

Well that sucks, I had no idea.

Me too, he looks great.
Ya, United are really interested in him. He's English, he's promising, talented and young, i'll bet you he isn't going to come cheap.

What if, we buy two CB's and move Chielini to LB.

RB(?)-Subotic-Kjaer-Chiellini
---------Melo---Momo
----Candreva----LB(?)
-----------Diego
-----------CF(?)

You will get a too defensive LB, Chiellini cant drible nor cross. Would not be good in a 4-3-2-1 or 4-3-1-2. Furthermore, even though he is prob decent in lb, but he is far better as CB so on overall it is a bad idea. Lastly I would not like to start with two new CBs next season, we need someone who knows whats going on and knows buffon and the monkeys on DM.

Not a good idea. Chiellini is a WC CB. just bring Criscito back for LB and we are fine there.
Melo-Sissoko? IMO Marchisio is our best CM and those 2 toghether is zero brain...

Think there's a chance of us signing zarate from lazio? I know we must firstly improve defence.
Should be very possible. Worst contender is Arsenal, maybe Inter, but they are pretty set in that position. But that move would make most sense if we went for 4-2-3-1 right?

Is he solely lefty or does he play on the right too?

If we were to Buy Rafinha,Onouha,Kjaer and Criscito we would have:
Giorgio CB/LB
Criscito CB(emergency)/LB
Kjaer CB
Onouaha CB/RB
Rafinha RB

2 left back options, 2 right back options and 4 CB options

4 defensive players and 3 staters in one campaign is a lot.. But it is necessary. Only 5 teams have conceded more goals in the serie a. This is sooo bad, even though the midfielders are also very much at fault.

 I thought there where none of you people left. Moving one of the best CB's in the world to another position is crazy talk.
