Did anyone here watch Van der Weil more than once or twice?
He's in everyone's 2010/2011 formation so I'm wondering if you guys know him well or it's due to his performance against us in Amsterdam.

If it's that single performance then I suggest we get Molinaro back. My friend who saw him for the first time 10 days ago, said that Molinaro is great. He impressed against Messi in defense and was very good in attack. Just the player we need.
I've seen him plenty of times, but it's always going to be a risk buying from the Dutch league, as the good performances are against pretty poor teams, especially compared to us. The same goes for Suarez aswell, who everybody seems to love purely on his goal per game ratio in our league.

I reckon VdWiel is a good RB though, he's a starter for our NT aswell, not that that's saying much, since the other options for his position are really poor, but still.

Long story short, I think he could handle a bigger league and because he's also good going forward with good technique, I think he'd be a good option for us. He's a pretty all-round fullback.

Oh, and yea, I know you were just trying to make a point with that question, but I thought I'd share. ;)

Getting Kjaer a decent RB and LB and keeping Giovinco ,getting rid of Zebina,Tiago,Molinaro,Poulsen and I'll be more than happy.
You want to get rid of two central midfielders and yet getting none in return :shifty:

That would leave us with only 3 midfielders and with our injury problems I guarantee you that before the half of the season we'll have none of them ready to play a game.
We don't need a CM or striker, imo. A winger or 2 would do.
What formation do you have in mind?

No, it's great that you did.
The boy might become a great player. Maybe he's a great player now. I don't know, I haven't seen him play more than twice, and I didn't really pay much attention to him.
But neither do most of the people here know him and my point was how deceiving it can be to judge someone from 90 or 180 minutes of football.

My (un)realistic 11:
Buffon
Caceres-Bonucci-Chiellini-Criscito
Sissoko-Melo-
Hamsik----Diego---- Di Maria
Iaquinta

If anything left then attacker rearrangments.

Bench: DC, Grygera, LEggo, Ariaudo, Marchisio, Poulsen, Camo, DP, Amauri, Immobile, Candreva

Out: Grosso, Zebina, Tiago, Almiron, Giovinco(part hamsik deal), Canna, Molinaro,Treze

Yes ,but when you look objectively it looked like we really didn't have 2 midfielders ,Poulsen and Tiago despite Poulsen is better than Tiago are nothing if you ask me.

And yes ,why not 4-2-3-1 would be a solution.

That formation would mean that we should have 2 holding midfielders and I guess you're thinking about Sissoko and Melo while benching Marchisio, but even then our injury problems plus the fatigue issues will ruin that formation to the ground. We need at least 4 midfielders regardless of the formation we're gonna play next season.

And Poupou surely aint a great player by all means but still, he can both pass and physically stop the opposition's offenses. He already have 2 assists to his name if im not mistaken.

Sucks if inter get both Bari centerbacks. That leaves us with just kiser and all the competition there will be. It's going to be difficult for is to get a good cb this summer. That makes me nervous about juve renewing cannas contract
