Btw, I really would have liked to have signed Rannocchia, decent talent, but HUGE he isnt, heard be mentionned a while back, bit weird to read honestly.
6ft 4inches is Huge.

I would have liked to sign him too, but that's one thing I should have known better than to be optimistic for :sergio:

Personally I'm not a fan for Mexes when we got a nice young crop of CBs to choose from. I know most of you all disagree with me, which is all fine and dandy but I think we need to take at least one risk this summer.

Kjaer, a risk, would be lovely IMO and when he performs with Chiellini then we got ourselves one nasty partnership.

what's the average height here? because I don't consider that huge..
What, do you think I'm making it up or exaggerating?

Look, rannocchia is a rather large CB.

Maicon is 1.84meters at 6 ft 1/2 inches
Lucio is at 1.88meters at 6ft2inches
Chiellini is at 1.86meters at 6ft 1 inches.

Rannocchia is taller than all of them at 6'4"...can you imagine how big inters backline is going to be? Most people here think the 3 I mentioned are beasts. Rannoch is bigger than all of them :scared:

Then you play the ball on the ground. Inter can take Rannochia. When they have Aguero, Diego and Delpie running at them next season they have no chance. Did I mention this was a dream?:p

gotta love the red-man, btw someone offered me tix to any celtics game next year which should i pick?
Celtic v Aberdeen.

We've had some good games at Parkhead in recent years. Including one of my all time favourite games: . I'm somewhere in that mass of bodies and ended up pretty much upside down. :D

Avoid the Old Firm game like the plague, unless you are a big fan of religious hatred. The standard of football in the games is appalling, too.

Celtic v Aberdeen or Celtic v Hibernian are the ones that are most likely to be a decent game.

Don't be conned by the myth of the 'wonderful atmosphere', though. It's rubbish most of the time.

I would prefer Juan to Mexes. Mexes is overrated imo.
But both are quality CB's that can improve our backline so I would welcome either one of them.

and Why don't we bring back Ariaudo if we're going to bet on the talent of Rannochia..
Chiellini + Juan/Mexes with Legro and Ariaudo as backup is a decent CB setup.

Hustini in that doomsday post about not signing him earlier, in that context it sounded like you meant a huge talent, which is what I disagreed with. Stature wise, he is a frigging tower. Quite tall mofo.

bring back ariaudo and we're settled ...we gotta concentrate of bringin a lb and a rb and a man for changing camo. We have the option of keeping caceres and candreca though. Oh and if trez will go, i would like to bring on immobile more often, as a 4th striker of course. We don't need to splash 20 mils for someone in that position imo.
