Lippi influenced the club's decisions to sign the decrepit duo of Grosso and Cannavaro. I blame Blanc and Secco for letting themselves be influenced but I also blame Lippi.
Cannavaro was signed for free, Grosso was signed for less than ~2 mln. A lot of people applauded both signings at the start of the season.

Did he ask Blanc and Secco not to sign another defender and Left back? Did he tell them both must be first team regulars? No, he just said that getting Cannavaro for free and Grosso for ~2 mln are good moves.

Don't trust italian media, dude. You should've learned that by now.

Del Piero is a great player which doesnt mean he's gonna do great in the right wing. The point is we haven't given Gio any proper chance at all and we should because the sharpness in attack is something we lack
D.P is such a great player that a team change the formation to suit him because he alone can decide a game.
What's the point of using Giovinco and changing formation if he doesn't have the ability to change the results. Surely even a CM/DM like Marchisio has more ability to decide a game than him.
Not any proper chance at all? It's not like players such as Pato, Jovetic and Balotelli got more opportunities than Giovinco at the beginning. They just proved their worth and changed the results for the team in the limited playing time and then they got better playing time. That's all.

You make it sound like he was working with Juve's needs in mind. I think it makes a lot more sense that he wanted as much of his Azzurri back 5 (defence and goalkeeper) as possible playing together for the season before the World Cup.

DP is a past, Gio is the future.
We have to move on and give Gio chance to prove himself.
Or our past will go away, and we'll meet our future with nothing.

Players that are staying and going (Tuttosport)

Staying:

Cannavaro,Chiellini,Del Piero,Diego,Felipe Melo , Grosso, Iaquinta, Marchisio, Sissoko, Salihamidzic

Depends on what offer we can get for them

Amauri,Buffon,Caceres,Camoraesi,Candreva,Chimenti,Giovinco,Legrottaglie, Manninger, Paolucci, Trezeguet

Going:

Almiron,De Ceglie,Tiago,Molinaro,Zebina,Poulsen,Grygera

Stay, Maybe, Get Out
What I think

and Ekdal and Palladino are coming back but Criscito is staying :sergio:
Buffon is not in that list. It would be a public relations disaster for Blanc to sell 1 of our symbols. How could he justify the sale on economic grounds when the new stadium will be right around the corner? That ship has already sailed. If they needed the money, they would have sold him already.

As for the going list, I figure we can get at least €25m for those players. Almiron (3m), DC (3m), Tiago (7m is the option in his loan I think), Molinaro (4m is the option in his loan I think), Zebina (1m), Poulsen (5m), Grygera (2m).

With a budget of €20m, maybe Trezegol's agents is right.

Well, if that's true (still not proven), then when he come back to the club as a president or a director, he'll certainly start working with Juve's needs in mind.

Don't tell me you hated Lippi now for this and forgot all about what he has done for this club. Plus, Cannavaro and Grosso are not really the biggest factors in this messy situation.

Juve will always be Lippi's home. The likes of Lippi and Trapattoni are welcomed at anytime. Legends.

I don't see why we should make Lippi president anyway. He has absolutely ZERO experience in anything like that. He hasn't even been involved in club football for years. We've all seen recently the consequences of hiring someone who is inexperienced.

Grosso and Cannavaro aren't the biggest problem Juve has but they are both shit at their job.

IMO, Gigli was our president for 4 years and he stepped down with ZERO experience in his position. Blanc has been in the club for 5 years and he still has ZERO experience. It's football and Lippi certainly knows a lot about football and how things are done in a club environment.

At the end, it's only my opinion, but I'm sure we both agree that our next president shouldn't be a 'Tennis' man but someone who knows a lot about this sport.

Yes, but in my opinion it should be someone who knows football from the boardroom, not the pitch and bench. I don't want yet another person at this club "learning in the job".

I can accept Bettega as a president and Lippi in his position. Let's have people who know football running this club for a change

They should create a financial department (if there isn't) within the management and let him control it. Keep him as far as possible from any decision regarding football.

We need a new triade. They were all organized, everyone had a discrete job.

I think it's important to also have people who know what they're doing in the business and financial side of things too though.
:agree:

Just because someone is a great player or coach doesn't mean that they will be good at running a football club.

We need people with business skills and football knowledge.
