Btw, people might think of Marino the "famous" former Napoli transfer "guru", but my first thought was Pasquale Marino the former Udinese coach. Am I wrong? Because we got Bettega as GM, how would we get the former Napoli director?

So you mean Napoli's Marino? He is more known, but didnt think he would be an option with getting Bettega (even if Bettega is more of an administrator then sporting director guru who does everything). So figured Marino the coach instead.
Its just so random to suddenly be linked with him.
Nothing...I was just wondering. Will we ever sign a Serb or "one" of Eastern European decent ever again? Seems like they are oozing with quality over there and we are continuing to try and tap a dry reserve...at least our scouts aren't the most educated in terms of learning where to drill. I for one am happy with my "oil" for "scouting" metaphor.
I remember reading Porto's arrogant Pinto da Costa thanking Benfica's scouts for discovering Falcao. Porto offered him 0.300m more and signed with them.

Well that can be used in many cases but Porto's scouts are great. They work whole day and they found so many players for so little cash who were later sold for 15mln euros.
Yeah the Porto scouts work 8-10 hours a day and look all over the world watching games from every level (u17, u18 etc), not just in their own continent.
