our board is more likely to splash 35 million on villa and pay him 5 million a season, than splash 5 million on a manager. thier previous records show that so what makes you think it's any different now?

1st I seriously doubt we would leave at 35m. 2nd our results show that it might not be a good idea having a coach with no experience and spend 25m a pop for good/very good players/not superstars and don't know what to do with them. Have the experienced coach first, buy the players he feels can help us at 12-20m each. When we start winning some trophies, get $$$ from the stadium, when the new budget rules get in place, sell those players for more than we bought then we'd be able to buy bigger stars.
