Is this Afellay guy all hype or is he performing well?

He's a good player, often underrated imo. I used to think he was all hype, but matured alot and I have to say he's impressed me on quite a few occasions. Also he's getting some playing time for our NT now and then.

I have to add I'm not a regular watcher of full PSV games, as it's the only league I don't get live on tv, but I've streamed a few.

Elia would be preferred for a 4-2-3-1, yes. But Afellay has been at PSV for a long time so it's more likely for him to move than Elia, who's been doing well for a bigger team in HSV.
