Criscito:"If Juventus want me then it means they have faith in all the good things I have done.

"I am sure Juventus will do well next season as they have the right ingredients to do so."

that's because of your standoffish responses to my questions.
because nothing is as certain as it was with Diego which as i said was pre planned for quite some time, now its about seeing things in real time, hence why i mentioned zapata without stating whether or not it was definite, but its a start, and certainly his name hasnt been linked with us in the media for some time neither. so before we go on, Sorry :)

well as i said there is nothing concrete in terms of strikers, but im getting kinda sick of people believing that we will attract big names this summer, forgetting that we dont even have CL appeal, some people need to get real and accept that this summer will not be as hyped up as many are making it out to be because of this "80 mill" budget we supposedly have, thus people are getting all excited and crunching out random numbers on big names believing it will happen.
Man City didn't even play Euro league last season and they signed players like Tevez, Adebayor, Barry to name a few.
If a team like City can attract players like that with cash, then why would a team like Juve be unable to attract a player like Tevez, we have Euro league, we have a history in world football and if the rumours about the 80mil is true, we have some cash to spent.

I don't think a player like Dzeko is an unrealistic target.

so what you saying, we're only signing Zapata this season?!
no there will be others of course, but so far we're only dusting off the dirt, more names will appear over the comming weeks.

but we dont have the finances to meet their wage demands the players you mentioned are probably collectively earning more than our entire first team

If we remove some of the players that don't perform (Tiago, Canna, Amauri, Grygera, Leggro, etc), then I am sure we will be able to give the, a wage worthy of considering us.
But then we also have to take a gamble for some players, f.e. signing Hazard or Dembele or Bonucci and hope they will become great reinforcements, we can't buy 6 or 7 stars, that, I agree with

I'd really like our board to use the supposed $80M on some proven quality players but in the event that we can't get those players I'd much rather scour the earth for young players in the 19-21 range and invest heavily in that market than overpay for the likes of Pazzini or other similar mediocre stop-gap players.

wrong, a name like juventus will always attract big coaches, especially ones who relish challenges
Depends how big you are talking. Lippi would come back of course. If you mean Benitez then he was just working an angle. Capello, Mourinho, Wenger, Hiddink, we were just dreaming. When they have easier jobs with more money on the table we aren't competing. Win a scudetto or run it close again then maybe we'll see..

i did say at the time it would be at least 2 or 3 years.

Anyways Zapata's name is back in the mixer, kjaer and bonucci smokescreens?
No you didn't. First time he did not arrive, you said he will arrive once we assure CL football. We played CL football the first year without Diego, that was after two years. Then you disappeared and became the joke of the forum. Then you came back months after Diego was signed and you want to take credit for the deal.

Diego

"Why did I choose Juventus? Because they're one of the best teams in the world and the way we have been talking for a long time, for two and a half years," he said. "I've also always had a special sympathy for Juve, it was the best option for me."
