Aquilani is a good call as well. Liverpool barely used him so they couldn't demand a lot, and IIRC they're struggling financially? And it's not like they got CL football. Buffon likes him as well doesn't he?
Lets hope Buffon doesn't become our general manager in the future.

Yeah, I know. I wish and pray we play van Bommel - Afellay, as the latter has been playing further back this year, excelling in that position.
I was loving every minute of that game against you guys, where we took De Jong and Bommel off for Afellay and VDV, so many good footballers. I realise we can't afford to in official games at a WC, but that's how I'd prefer to play. De Jong takes it too far, too often, he's a bit of a liability, though he can be decent. He's my least favourite player, together with Ooijer, who should retire right now, the minute I post this, or yesterday, if possible.
I'd love Juve to play with a good footballer next to Marchisio.
