We would be playing Champions League football next season and maybe qualified from the group stage in this season's CL and Coppa Italia's final.

If we'd get Lucio instead of Canna back, and Sneijder instead of Diego, and Criscito instead of Grosso... I wonder how our season would've look like :D
Lucio instead of canna and criscito istead of grosso look like great moves. but i would never trade diego for sneijder. its a bad thing to overrate our players but its even worse to underrate them...

But Sneijder is better than Diego, no doubt! Why would you prefer Diego?
they dont have the same role in the team. diego is a playmaker. he has flair, dribbling and very nice finishing. sneijder is an attacking midfielder. the only thing he can do better than diego is shooting from long distances. diego and sneijder in the same formation wold be crazy but if a had to choose one of them i would definitely go for diego...

Why would the likes of Ivanovic, Maxwell, Silva, Gourcuff, Berbatov even consider coming to Juve in these circumstances?
At the end of the day we are still juventus, and we can attract players through our name and history. Berba wont be starting next season, so he could be tempted with first team football and a change if scenery, Gourcuff may be tempted to try italy again and get some revenge on milan. Ivanovic is the most unrealistic along with silva but still not out if the question. Maxwell also could be tempted by first team football.

I can't believe I'm reading this. You're willing to bring back Zlatan "Lo Zingaro" Ibrahimovic?! Really?!
Yes, without hesitation. He would significantly improve this team.

I don't like a dribbler in the centre of midfield. For a wide midfielder, yes, dribbling and pace are essential.

Sneijder's passing is better than Diego, his shooting is much better than Diego's and Freekick taking is better.

I can's see why you would DEFINITELY go for Diego!

You gotta be kidding me. Such BS. Except shooting and freekicks, he has NOTHING on Diego (though he has been real good, especially CL).

Thats what I mean with fickle, when Sneijder was having tough time in Real, everyone here was saying he is awful and shit, avoid him like the plague (was defending him to deaf ears), and now he finds another venue to show his good qualities, and he is suddenly overrated like the above. Fickle, fickle. I can guess what you would been saying about them if Diego was at Inter and Sneijder with us.

The good thing is that next season can't be this bad. With a good coach, mercato and less injuries, we can make top 4. If they dont underperform and have a little luck we might aswell make top 3.

Diego and Melo are keyplayers who must start producing. Candreva must be signed and a class striker must ne bought together with cb and fullbacks.

I just pray we dont get del neri as coach.

dribbling is an essential skill for an attacking midfielder.

as i said before diego is a playmaker and not an attacking midfielder. any good team should have in his starting 11 one playmaker and 1 or 2 attacking midfielders arround him. an attacking midfielder for example is candreva. look how comfortable was diego when he was playing with candreva and how bad he was when he was playing alone.

as for the comparison. sneijder is better than diego in shooting. but diego is better than sneijder in flair and fishing. in terms of passing and free kick taking i rate them equally. in addition to this diego has swhon that he can change the course of a game by himself. something that i don't think sneijder can do...

Wait, let me rephrase... You'd take back the player who left Juventus for not just any other team, but for INTERMERDA, when the rest of the players stuck it out a season in Serie B?! I don't care if he can score goals while napping, he's a fucking traitor, and I wouldn't take him back if he were the last striker on the face of the planet.

You think you read it all...

I don't think I even have to point out I've always had faith in Sneijder aswell. :D

You make a good point though, that's how things go, generally.

Juve should only ever aim for number 1.

I've always liked Sneijder. Never overrated Sneijder when he had a very good start in Madrid and never underrated him when he was back from injury and struggled a little in Madrid. The only thing I wished for when he joined Inter, is to have a season full of injuries.

I also like Diego and still think he's an excellent player, but that doesn't mean he's a better player than Sneijder. All I'm saying is, Sneijder is better than Diego, not based on their form this season, but overall. Let's be realistic here.

Well thats fine if you dont want to take him back, it really doesnt bother me in the slightest.
