I think instead of looking at names of coaches and players all the time we should look at the team as a whole
we need a coach who can makes our players bond and we should look at players who would fit in
football is a team sport, the team is always more important than the individual
that's how Lippi made Juve the best team in the world, there were clubs with better players on paper but we had the best team and that is what we should be going back to
lippi built that team, not all those guns were there before. And on paper his team always rivaled the best in europe.

But i agree about looking at the team as a whole....this team has a set core of players who can play the game very well. Building a team around those seven or so players will be the key.

In saying that, we have at least 10 plus players who are either too old and past it, or just not good enough these days. This will be the hard thing, pffloading them and replacing them with limited budget.

Maybe we should:

Reloan Caceres
Spend on CB(Kjær, Subotic) 15M, Rodriguez(7m). and get Criscito for Palladino, Candreva 7M.

Sell Sissoko and buy D'ago.

Caceres Kjær Chiellini Criscito

Camo/Candreva - Marchisio/D'ago - Melo - Giovinco /Rodriguez

Diego/DP
---------- Treze/Amauri/Iaq

30M mercato and should get us into CL.

It would force us to rely on Giovinco and give him his time to shine. 1 more year of Camo plus Candreva as RW, lets see what he can do.

Diego is our supporting striker. Caceres has another year to develop defensively.

The team would not be great, but decent, and there would be not transfer fuck ups. Plus we could increase of transfer budget significantly next year.

Haha, his price is wayyyy to inflated now. I'd like Stephan El Shaarawi but he's not an out-and-out striker.
How much would he be worth? 17m was last I heard in the media. I've warmed to Maxi so much these past few months, nice stint at Grêmio as well.

I approve of El Shaarawi, but he's young still. I don't want to rely on our current strikers (even if Trez stays).

Well I remember reading the Catania president saying that he wouldn't sell him for even a figure similar to what you mentioned. Yeah, there's a reason Barça got Maxi and Saviola etc etc, too bad they didn't work out. I'd rely on them, sell Iaquinta change the formation with one up top and use the funds to strengthen other areas of the team.

Meh to be honset we don't have to even league our league to have a decent mercato.

Kolarov
Kjær
Guarente
Sánchez
Forward
Re-loan Cáceres
OR

Criscito (LB)
Bocchetti/Bonucci/Ranocchia (CB)
Re-loan Caceres
Re-loan Candreva (or buy him, but definitely not for the price in his loan deal)
D'Agostino/Cigarini/Guarente
Pazzini or any other Prima Punta

2 players who must leave at all costs are Amauri and Zebina.

I read that we "will" sign/sell players like..

Sign:

Cassani
Vargas
Krasic
Kjær
Palombo
Pazzini

Sell:

Sissoko
Amauri
Camo
Trezeguet
Grygera
Zebina
Molinaro
Tiago
DIEGO (i would hate this).. And i still believe he will stay..

And we will play a 4-4-2
But id still mix it a little and play a 4-2-3-1 with the same players.

Pazzini
Vargas Diego Krasic
Marchisio Palombo
Criscito Chiellini Kjær Cassani

And we could switch to a 4-4-2 without a problem, with Diego moving along side Pazzini and the flanks going back a bit..
