So, because some people have criticised the signings of Diego and Melo, you never want Juve to make another big move for a player because it is a gamble?

I suppose you must feel the criticism more than most, since it was you who signed Diego.

so you think its sensible to thrash out 20 mill of money we can't afford to waste on players that going by the track record of the management post 2006 are very poor. and for the record im not just talking Diego, personally i still think he has something to offer, but there are many others - Amauri, Tiago, Almiron etc... God forbid we spend 20 mill on someone like Hazard or suarez thats all i will say

Why does everybody say that you had a hand in signing Diego?

Dusan, how about Tosic performing in Koeln? He got into the Serbia WC squad and i guess he played well there. I would like we get this guy from MU actually if he turn out to be good.. I believe he just not get his chance in MU, like Ivanovic first come to Chelsea and never played there in a season

And where is Bosko Jankovic? Is he still injured? There is lot of Serb talent and seem to be forgotten

Does it have to be 4-4-2? You'd think with the truck loads of money these coaches make, they'd learn to be more flexible, progressive, and less one-dimensional. Assuming a club has the right players for a 4-2-3-1 formation, why bring in a coach who deploys 4-4-2? Even in such circumstances, it would then be required that the coach adapt to the existing formation, or the team changed to suit his preferred formation.

In most situations, I think it would be far more astute and economical to go for a coach that suits a team's existing formation, as opposed to restructuring the whole squad.

Assuming we will be deploying 4-4-2 next season, how does this hypothetical formation look?

Buffon

RB Bonnuci Chiellini Crisctio

Hazard/Krasic Melo Marchisio Giovinco

Diego Dzeko

Giovinco can play a little more advanced on the left flank, with Diego dropping lower, essentially acting as an SS or AMF at times.

very nice i think though i prefer if one of melo or marchisio in pulled back a bit and replaced by sissoko, and the MR position swapped into MC, and giovinco in side by side with diego as SS.
How about it?

I agree. We should limit our spending to 5m on Semioli, so just in case the board get it wrong again, we don't feel the media pressure.

Fuck the highly talented players.

how can ppl say we dont need big signings

what we lack are big players!!we have like 3-4 players that could walk into other teams but the rest of our squad would be lucky to compete in reserve and academy teams across europe
