Isn't there some striker tearing it up in Brazil, Argentina, Ligue 1, or the Eredivisie who is 25 or younger and affordable?
Gervinho is pretty damn good, but he isn't an out and out striker. The Turk Erdinc at PSG is somewhat young and doing fairly well.

But if you want to go for a player with a high risk-reward ratio then the 18 year-old Santos starlet Neymar is the guy. Sick nasty skills.

How could anybody not want Cassano right now? We couldn't get a better attacking player for the 20mil euros. With all of the money we will need to be spending on defensive improvements purchasing fatantanio seems the cheapest way to jumpstart our limp attack. His creative play would probably benefit the less mobile strikers we have (Amauri, Trez) along with Diego they should have plenty of service.

Sell Yakwinta to make extra funds and then we have our four strikers for next season.

Eredivisie:

Suarez from Ajax or Ruiz from Twente.

But Suarez will have to cost +/- 20-25 Million Euro and Ruiz has to cost +/- 12-15 million Euro, don't know if you think that is affordable or not.

Suarez chokes in the big matches, but his fighting spirit and his pace can really help us, maybe we can give ajax grygera back and we can lower the price if van der Wiel is leaving they could use a RB:) and we get rid of him!
Win-Win situation for us!

I'm all for Cassano IF we are able to get a proper winger as well. I don't want to see us playing a narrow 4-3-2-1 formation without any movement from midfield. Attacking fullbacks will help a lot as well.

As mentioned, Neymar is number 1. Anyone else should be second after him. The Man City option on him wouldn't matter I don't think, they can't compare to us.

And this guy

Don't know, depends on which other teams are interested I guess.
In my opinion, he is worth the gamble of offering him a contract assuming the rumour about him being transfer free is true.

His contract definitely does expire this summer.

Spurs and ManUre are supposed to be interested.
