You've seen him play tonight? What do you think? And yes they're asking for about 40m which is completely justified IMO.
I flicked between Valencia and Pool, I've seen him in the past and he still does not impress me. I would rather spend 40 million on Silva who is twice the player that Di Maria is.

Not to sound harsh but I feel he is overrated.

You watched Rodriguez last night?
I certainly did, Very negative performance by Banfield alot of long balls, very defensive minded. Rodriguez himself saw very little of the ball so I really could not cast Judgement. He did a very nice move where he tricked two defenders and played through a fantastic through ball just before half time but that was it.

The kid is built well on first impressions and his play is that of Ronaldo(C) not in any way am I comparing them he just has that Ronaldo-esque style about him. Seems quick, tracks back alot and has a very neat first touch but then again the game I watched was hard to cast to much judgement due to Banfield cutting him out of moves to often.

They're both great players in my books, the palm face was for Di Maria being overrated.
He's what 22? and hardly set the world on fire. I will eat my words if he moves to Italy, Spain or EPL and does it.

Perhaps I'm being harsh but look at Quaresma he was the biggest star in Portugal for years yet moved into a more competitive league and could not handle it.

Lichsteiner

and he is not as bad as you guys are saying, his season has been like his club's, really.
Zarate sucks this season, Pandev would sucked there if he was still there, Ledesma cant do anything to improve their current mess. Not much can help in that team.

He took apart Liverpool last night. Playing both on the right and on the left. I agree, 40M might be a steep price, but I'd go for him up til 30. I'd take him over Silva. But I might also be his biggest fan in here:lol2:

With Silva you'd a world class player. With Di Maria you'd get a world class player, whom I think will be mentioned along with Ronaldo and Messi within a couple of years.

I would certainly take Di Maria over Ribery
not that I think he's better right now but I believe Ribery is on his way down with all the injuries he's having and Di Maria is nowhere near his prime

Yep spot on, shame about Banfield's tactics as well.

The game on Sunday against Estudiantes will hopefully be better.

Atletico want to sign Tiago
We want Aguero
maybe 30+Tiago for Aguero?
It would be a steal to get Aguero for that price and Atletico might say yes given that they want Tiago

-Hazard

So, lets forget about Hazard and settle with Palladino.

You're assuming that Aguero wants to leave & join a team that's in shambles. Not to mention the other teams that could eclipse any bid we make both transfer fee & salary wise.
