'Cesc has received offers from Italy' Wednesday 24 March, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cesc Fabregas' agent has revealed that the Arsenal captain has received offers from Italy and elsewhere.

There were reports in January that Inter are planning on battling it out with Barcelona to sign the Spanish international midfielder this summer.

Speaking to FcInter1908.it, Fabregas' agent, Joseba Diaz, apparently said: “For the moment, the future doesn't interest us.

“Now we're thinking about doing well in the Champions League and confirming ourselves in the Premier League.”

When asked if his client has a preferred destination were he ever to leave Arsenal, Diaz said: “Italy, like Spain, is certainly a fascinating hypothesis, but it's not as if Cesc is unhappy in England.”

Finally, Diaz was pressed on whether Fabregas has received any offers from Italy.

“Yes, but not only (from Serie A),” he concluded.

Why can't we swoop in there with some players in exchange? Where is Fred at?

True. But if Wenger wants Melo I could definitely see a midfield like this:

Fabregas-Sissoko-Marchisio

This way Sissoko is bound to be 10 times better at his job. He would have 2 players comfortable with the ball and comfortable receiving it at their feet. Much better passing.

You guys can't be afraid to get great players because of injuries. Injuries can happen to anyone.

We can't be afraid to pass up a player because he might get injured. Anyone can get injured at any time. No one thought that Super Gigi would be injured as much as he has been.

Take some risks..thats my thought anyways.

True Hus, but they hit us hardly ,they are long termed and show on a regular basis.
We need a proper sub for Sissoko if we 're gonna rely on one DM.

Yeah just imagine those 2 upfront .

Diego would be our top scorer than.
I'm fairly confident both of them could easily outscore Diego tbh.

With all the people doing teams around here...

Buffon
Cáceres-Bonucci-Chiellini-Trémoulinas
Sissoko-Marchisio
Hazard-Diego-Giovinco
Dzeko

Manninger, De Ceglie, Ariaudo, Melo, Candreva, Rodríguez, Trezeguet

Hell yeah.

Carlo, they're more MCs then DMCs in my opinion.
Poulsen is highly paid guy with no strict defensive actions.
Ehh, Poulsen isn't a horrible defender. Honestly haven't seen much of Ekdal this season but I remember seeing him play as a DM some time ago. True Poulsen does leech a ton of cash from us though, we should look to get rid of him. Moussa Sissoko then? :D
