I like Torres instead of Villa, because he is younger and have been accomplished in a better league. You can never be really sure that La Liga stikers can make outside spain.

I'm not saying that Villa can't - I'm pretty certain he can, I just think Torres would have a better shot at making it Italy, because Premier League is pretty tough.
How about the international stage where Villa has eclipsed pretty much every striker bar Luis Fabiano?

Silly argument anyway, we can't just send all the players in the world to England so they can prove themselves in a less technical game. We all know how good Zlatan is yet he's been poor for a month or two now in La Liga.

On the international stage he has played on the best team the last 3 years or so.

I'm not saying he isn't great bc Villa is truly worldclass , and I'll probably drop a load in my pants if we sign him, and for all I know he could be better than Torres or anyone else in juve. All that I am saying, is that imo the likelihood of failure is lower with Torres because he is mentally and physical prepared from the premier league. So in the unlikely situation that somebody asked me to choose, i'd pick Torres on the above reasons.

You could also say that Villa is more prepared than Torres because the latter has had injury problems over the last season and a bit.

It doesn't even matter though, it's like arguing who we would want more between Fabregas and Xavi for example.

Juve to swap Amauri for Kjaer
Wednesday 17 March, 2010
Juventus are apparently giving serious thought to swapping Amauri for Palermo's promising young centre-back Simon Kjaer.

The Bianconeri are in a phase of reconstruction after a disappointing season and they want to start building from the back.

Fabio Cannavaro is likely to retire at the end of the season and rather than bring in another veteran, Juventus are keen to rejuvenate their ageing squad.

Kjaer has made 53 appearances for Palermo in his first two seasons in Italy and the 20-year-old Denmark international is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Europe.

He is set to go to the World Cup in South Africa this summer, which will put him even more in the shop window.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly interested, making it imperative that Juventus move quickly.

Il Corriere dello Sport understands the Bianconeri feel that Palermo could be tempted into taking Amauri back as collateral for Kjaer.

The Brazilian centre-forward, who spent two very successful seasons with the Rosanero, has found it tough in Turin over the last year.

Juventus have apparently already spoken to Kjaer's agent about the prospect of doing a deal.

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has also said that he would welcome Amauri back to the Renzo Barbera.

Getting rid of the 29-year-old would kill two birds with one stone for Juventus, as they would not only get a highly rated centre-back, but a space would be freed up in the squad for another striker.

The Bianconeri's vice-general manager Roberto Bettega is very keen on Sampdoria's Giampaolo Pazzini and a bid for his services this summer appears to be on the cards.
