I remember that when Inter got Lucio many members said its a good thing and that Lucio isn`t a good defender
Up till now Lucio is doing great at Inter and helped them win the CL last season

BTW I think we could try Pepe as a LB or a RB if we dont get a LB or if Motta play bad I`ve seen him cover like a RB against Milan and think he has what it takes to change his position like we did with Zambrotta. I even saw some mebers talk about it in the Milan-Juve thread (Berlusconi)

Demicheles on his game he can be very good but he lacks the concentration levels to be a truly top class defender,he has lackadaisical moments in just about every game where he sells a pass short,gets caught dawdling with the ball at his feet,or completely loses his man. i would pass on this one
