Alot of this season's transfers have been questionable. It seems like the board is trying to get rid of unpopular players such as Grosso, Poulsen, Zebina etc. while Italy Azzurri internationals to appease the fans.
Unfortunately a few of the players coming in and the ones we have been linked with aren't much of an improvement.
The only appeasing of fans is Bonucci. The rest of them is certainly not. Pepe and Motta were incredibly good deals, and Martinez was baffling for most fans.
We are severely hampered by high wages and bad players. It is not possible to fix the wrongs of Secco in two months.
I won't say he has done great. But Bonucci was a good buy, and Pepe and Motta deal are really value for money. His firm stand on Krasic and Dzeko valuation, and the fact that he did not give in to atleticos offers pleases me. I know we would rather have sold Tiago, but not at any ridicoulous price.
The team is not great, but has improved from last year. Playing to its potential it should also be a lot better than the sampdoria team that got 4th.
