My point is that Genoa are doing a great job getting some good names heading their way.

I wouldn't call Krasic a surprise, Oggy. Mascherano and Coutinho will be sick for them. Sorry, hate to beat a dead horse here but they signed Sneijder on the cheap along this this 18 yr old genius while we shelled out 25m for a player that struggled all year long (times 2 actually with Melo). Why the hell can't we take a chance by scouting overseas more? This is like smoking, its a bad habit. We spend a lot on the transfers only for it to backfire on us in the long run. Kick the fucking habit and do what other teams are doing. I don't see why its so difficult. That way we don't shell out 12m on a player like Martinez whom is a complete black sheep when it comes to what we know about him. Pepe, don't get me started. Our decent youth gets sent away...I'm not saying great youth, but decent here.

I love to be optimistic but I also love to be realistic when necessary. I enjoy Krasic but I just don't think he is the one to take us up to the next level.
Change your user title then into realistic. :)

Trémoulinas, but there's not enough good LB's out there.

Dos Santos, I don't know why we would be linked to him. I don't like his attitude that much.

On what basis are people hyping Rafinha?Must be his name.I prefer Mottinha.
I don't know if I was imagining it, but did you once compare Aogo to Molinaro?

Yup. Good for Genoa, let's get a left-back.

They are doing ok,but getting Veloso and Rafinha is quite risky looking at their characters.

Coutinho proved nothing so far, scored one goal in a meaningless friendly.

I don't think so. I think I compared him to Paolino De Ceglie though, not a significant upgrade which is why I wouldn't be too excited if we get him.

Coutinho is 18 playing for a CL winning team, he has done enough. In Italy, 18 years old to be playing for the best team in the country is pretty damn good.

Veloso and Rafinha are better than the players they have now, plus Rannocchia. They are doing some damn good business if you ask me. I'd say Bonucci and Motta and that is all we have worth mentioning for this summer.

I knew you would reply:)
I didn't mention Krasic at all, and can't consider Krasic as a surprise signing when we are linked to him for past three months. Nor I consider him as a difference maker.

Yes, we spent a lot on Melo and Diego, but also how many times Inter spent loads of cash on players that failed (and this season will give us answer, did Melo and Diego failed). Snejider was good business, but Diego supposed to be even better. You can't always predict how one player is going to play. Last season Inter had better mercato, but how many times we did?

And you contradict yourself a little bit, you said that we should get rid of our habit of spending big and go for overseas youth but at the same time you praised Inter for getting Mascherano (he will cost more than Diego or Melo).

I agree about our youth policy, but we never had youth policy especially pre Calciopolli Juve.

Also Inter is not a club that should get praise for youths, how many youths they actually have and are playing? Most of their youth are also loaned or on co-ownership deals. They best youth player is getting sold and the other is sitting on the bench.

Oh man, you got the 'é' too. 10/10, Salvatore.
Can't do it without the accents! Although I'm slightly concerned at the possibility of Miloš Krasić or Edin Džeko.

The Frenchie is the only LB I really want to see here (thinking realistically). Fucile is good I guess.

Still,he played nothing but friendlies so far. I like the idea of finding our own Pato, but hyping that Coutinho kid when he hasn't even played a single competitive match is quite odd if you ask me.He is far from being first choice. He still has a long way to go.

So you already write off Pepe and Martinez?

I always feel so stupid when it comes to players from the French league, which I completely ignore.

Never heard of this guy either. :D
Basic run-down: Matuidi is good defensively, athletic, but suspect offensively. Has been an on-again, off-again target to pair Cesc by Arsenal though nothing has ever really materialized.
