Zapata can play there. A more defensive minded for sure. He played there with Colombia NT, I think. In fact, he can play anywhere at the back (we all know he played as CB/RB at Udine).

Probably many would disagree with me here, but I rate him higher than Bonucci. It would be a coup if we can sign him.

Problem is, I don't think we're seriously linked with him.

I was under the impression he was pretty much gone already? I'd be all for holding on to Marrone, he's looked calm and collected every time he's played for us. Is he staying then?

Ekdal is also at Juventus, although there seems to be substance in the rumours that we'll sell half of him for about €3m once we're done with Shamrock Rovers.
