With rumours of Tiago being offloaded to make way for another CM...

Does anyone else think Gago would just be another Tiago? (Not just because their names kinda sound alike)

Jesus Navas, for all his talent, is mentally frail. Not sure how that would work out.

Afellay, heard good things. I'll let the Dutch judge him.

Joaquin, meh.

And BS rumours, but would defenitely take Heyzeus Navas, fine player this season, and seems to have improved his momma's boy mentality.

Isnt't he suffering from chronical home sickness? MAYBE another Spanish club, but dont think a guy like that will ever play abroad. Sad though - he is really good.

I saw the talent with Verona and was surprised we let him go. Rookie mistake by Secco that needs a mention.

Almost all of these players we're being linked with are "meh". None of them will take us to the next level (i.e. actually challenging for Serie A/CL).
I agree with you. Individually, the players we have been buying are a bit of a risk considering the fees involved and their levels of experience. But at the same time we wouldn't need world-class players in every position if we learned how to function as a unit or even two units. Attack and Defense. As a unit our defense is terribly weak.

Honestly how many times yesterday did Chiellini have to clean up because he was the last man? We were playing Parma not Barca and until the players learn how to defend and attack as a unit then it's just going to be the same stuff we see week in and week out.

Yes. Whilst Inter boast their squad with Pandev on a free, probably Kolarov for the other flank than Maicon, and then a new midfielder in the summer after Vieira is gone in January. Meh.
