4-4-2 is pragmatic and relies on team unity not creative brilliance.
Don't you think it would depend on the personnel? I am not convinced that we can make generalizing assumptions about given tactical setups. A 4-3-3 could be attacking, free flowing and dependent on creativity like Barca's and it could be pragmatic and dependent on hard working players and defensive solidity ala Jose Mourinho's 4-3-3.

Once again - I do see your point.

Yet again, we shouldn't do everything in our power to give Del Neri players for 4-4-2. Well screw any coaches that's not capable of a change. And why do that if he'll leave after one season? Whoever comes next (hopefully with some brain) will NOT use 4-4-2 and changes will be needed again - we'll be after new Diego's. We're not doing anything with that.

Diego had a bad season, but he was still among better players here.
I see your point, and that is a way too look at the situation. A good way.

I personally don't rate Diego for mentioned reasons. I was against his purchase from the first place; but anyway I like us to serve the coach best in order not to embarrass ourselves again. A finish outside the top 4 again would be suicidal to finances, the club needs the money from the Champions League.

Diego will not be used or will be used wrongly in a 4-4-2. It will only lower his price more, and will be wasted wages that could be better occupied by a player that will suit the formation that the Mister wants to use.

That is correct. But I was speaking about Juve's 4-4-2. It needs to be compact and solid because there is no creative players in the center of midfield....so will have to rely on team unity and compactness.

Juve could sign Adebayor on loan but would have to pay for his £4.5m wage entirely by themselves. The Bianconeri apparently need to wait for City to sign a striker first.

The Bianconeri may also agree with the Citizens for a potential deal regarding Momo Sissoko. The former Liverpool midfielder has been hailed by Mancini, who wishes to sign him on a permanent basis.

Yea but I just say.

It might be his last year while we have Amauri who's not doing it and Iaquinta who should be sold.

Personally I'd love to see Robinho here but not yet. Maybe when Del Piero retires.
Burdisso had a very good season at Roma but I'd skip him.

He's overpriced now and there are better options out there.

When he was playing for Arsenal, Adebayor was a beast. He's done shit with City, but I believe this guy still has it. His wage his big, but if he comes for free, then it should be ok. If he finds his old form back, Addebayor can become the best strikers in Serie A.

As far as sissoko, I really don't want him to go. Poulsen and Tiago should be sold way before him.

tiago is a different type of player and better at wat he does than sissoko is at his speciality

Its true that Sissoko isn`t the best of passers but you make it sound like he is shit
Sissoko is actually a great player and let me remind you the year we signed him- We were defensively shit untill January when we signed him and he gave us defensive stability!

Melo could do that job and pass but up till now he didn`t as for Poulsen he showed nothing defensively compared to Sissoko

I think you are underating Sissoko a bit
I don`t say he is the best in the world but he is our only defensive midfielder who make his defensive duties as shoud.

Adebayor only had one good season with us, even in that season he disappointed in the business end of the season when we needed him most.
