I for one cant really blame him for not reaching his peak yet.Its kinda hard living in CR7's shadow but Nani strikes me as the type of player that needs constant attention & faith shown in his abilities.
I think he needs to play for a less prestigious club. It's merely a scenario of the big fish in a small pond that would suit him.
Quaresma has the talent but lacks the mental fortitude to live up to it.
Nani has mental issues off the pitch. But when on it, he really gives his all. Having a talented winger like him on Juve would make me cream in my shorts. Surround him with enough pork chops (e.g., Tiago) and other pork & cheese speakers (Diego, Melo, Amauri), and I think there's a shot he could fit in too.
And I watched him play at Sporting, a much smaller club. I don't think that's the issue.
From the first call-up when Portugal lost to Poland in the Euro 08 qualifiers, he came up big and delivered while his teammates floundered. He's had a far greater positive impact on the Portugal NT's WC '10 campaign than CR ever had, that's for sure.
If anything, Fergie seems like a douche to me. So dissenting sounds more like a sign of intelligence.
