Sagna's development hasn't been as expected for me. The man crosses worse than Molinaro.
What are you talking about? Sagna has been an absolute beast this season.

Not at ALL, both have weak crossing ability for sure, but I'll say Sagna is more efficient crosser. He assists from time to time (2 assists against Tottenham), and puts in more crosses. Clichy is really inept at it.
Really? I dunno, I think Clichy personally because he's faster so when he gets behind the players he has more time to place his crosses...

Osman is right in this one, Sagna is definitely a better crosser than Clichy. The latter is absolutely horrible in crossing, he is no better than Molinaro in that respect, and i really mean that.

Clichy is offensively better (as in moving forward with the ball himself), quicker and better dribbler, offensive wingback, while Sagna is conservative and traditional fullback. But Clichy is too erratic offensively, too impulsive and not much in controll of what he is doing (Gibbs is smoother and more refined then him in this regard, more involved in linking with others), has great blitz runs but which have no end products (if he gets past them, he is impulsive with his runs, he generally runs too much into players and forced to pass along). Can do more individually, but when he crosses, which isnt so often be, he generally doesnt do much at all with them, he hits them very badly, like he doesnt have control at all.

Sagna is more of 2nd wave running off the ball and finding space off the shoulder of ze winger, limited offensively skill wise, but more tactical using that space and crosses decently enough, bit mediocre crosses, but fullfills this task dutifully and well enough, more involved working down his wing with others (seems more offensively willing lately), and hitting in crosses to finish off moves, in general find them to be better then Clichy's, who really, when he gets away a few, can barely get it close to any Arse player, its like a quota of 2-3 good crosses a season.

I'm not finished...Eboué, Corluka, Zuniga, Azpilucueta, Iraola...
haha I told you DUSAN!!! Corluka was mentioned before...it must have been Mark!
I've seen em' all play expect one. Motta is ok but I feel many are better options. His development is not were it's supposed to be.
Which one?
Krasic is crazy.
highlight video please?

Well since you really mean that...I believe you:D

Sold.

That is the kind of full backs I want. More defensive and ones that make the most of when they do decide to venture forward. I do not like one to be an anomaly when in attack. I only saw him maybe 3 times and that is the idea that I got when i saw him just those couple times.

Ugh. I guess you have point, I confused his attributes overall and attacking ability with his crossing specifically. About Gibbs, he's going to replace Clichy eventually I have a feeling, Wenger is always keen to sell on certain players when he feels its time. I think I may have seen one extremely good cross by Clichy I think it was against Manchowder or something, hence I may be generalizing but next time I'll pay attention to that. ;)

Yeah I can see Gibbs replacing Clichy too, as I said, Gibbs seems more polished as a fullback and not chaotic like Clichy, can perhaps eventually replace him well enough.

Is he actually as good as folk say?

I've seen him a couple of times, but I haven't been convinced.
I've been following him for a while, he's been impressive and assured at Ajax and I finally think the Dutch have got the right back they have been lacking for quite some time, he keeps his cool well, but I'd allow him a year or two to consolidate this before he moves to a bigger club.

My choice right now would be Gonzalo Castro of Leverkusen, great experience at such a young age.

Arsenals Eduardo? Nah we can do better, he is good, but is rated bit too much despite not proven himself yet with Arse. And they wont sell him to frigging Pool.

Over Iaquinta, eh? What if he wants first team football. And we have enough injured players here. One big NO to that. Lets get some proper fullbacks first.

Well IMO Nani could turn out to be good for us. He's not having a good relation with Fergie lately. He can turn out to be the perfect Camo replacement. Oh and I forgot abt Krasic
