We do need a 2'nd striker. Del Piero is no spring chicken @ 34 (soon to be 35), and Cassano has at least 5 years of top quality football left in him. With him and Diego dictating our attacking play, we can potentially become unstoppable.

Eventually, we will have to replace both Del Piero and Trezeguet (perhaps as early as next season), and I'd rather we get our hands on Cassano than allow Milan or Inter to do so.

id love to see cassano don a juve jersey but rumours have it hes rejected us before several times esp when cappello became our coach

I remember his first league game for Fiorentina when he started against us and actually brought them into the game owning the left flank. Made me keep an eye out after that.

On a positive note, there are really not many players from Montenegro/Serbia that are injury prone and they can all play till their 34 at least on the same level (Stankovic) so it's a long term solution.

Jovetic is really awesome. I say go for it.
