Perhaps the reason is because Cassano is amongst one of the best players in Serie A. Pandev is not.

Actually that would be fantastic. It would mean we have the brilliant Cassano, and they have player who can be useful but defenitely not an impact player for a top team. That would defenitely be fantastic for us.

is Cassano THAT much better than Pandev?! I love Antonio, I'd be thrilled to see him at Juve, I daresay it's been a dream of mine right from when he scored THAT goal against Inter...but Goran is not a bag of shit either, a very underrated player IMO

There are reports Juventus are already looking to next season with bids for Serie A stars Stevan Jovetic and Goran Pandev.

Both hail from the former Yugoslavia, as Jovetic is Montenegrin and Pandev is a Macedonian international.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport newspaper, these two forwards could well represent the future of the Old Lady.

Although he has denied it, reports continue to circulate that Pandev will soon demand a contract rescission after he was frozen out by Lazio over a contract dispute.

If the paperwork is filed with the authorities, then Pandev could in theory be a free agent in time for the January transfer window.

Juve face a battle, as the striker has also been linked with Inter, the club where he started his Serie A career.

As for Jovetic, Fiorentina have made it clear they will sell top stars if the right price is offered and already handed Felipe Melo to the Bianconeri for £21.5m.

The mop-topped teenager’s performances so far this season have attracted interest from Manchester United among others.

Juventus had already been in the race to sign him from Partizan in 2008, but he opted for Fiorentina as he thought he would get more first team football there.
