I think infact he is the more well rounded player. He is a good passer and can get forward but is also good at defending. He is tireless and is a good box to box player.

Lassana tends to prefer to sit infront of the defence more but is alos pretty good with his feet and tries to go forward when the team are not doing well. I think he is alot like Mascherano while Mahamudou is more like De Rossi.
I have to strongly disagree here. Diarra can appear to be lethargic in attack and isn't much of a passer either. He's as far from De Rossi as possible, i think Lass is certainly more comfortable on the ball than Mamadou.

:agree: Mamadou is more of a destroyer. Lass is better with the ball.

hmm maybe I am wrong but that is how I felt when M Diarra under Capello. He was much more dynamic than Emerson (who was in rapid decline)

I guess I dont see Lass play enough.

Mark, why is the market so silent nowadays? (what concerns Juve of course)

Is it because we are waiting for Criscito's decision?
Is it because Lippi is busy with the Confederations Cup?
Is it because Madrid silenced everyone with their money?
A bit of everything. Preziosi said he'll keep him so I don't know the wait to get a LB. Maybe Juve think he's bluffing? We'll know for sure on the 25th for this scenario. I know it's still early but I'd try to make my deals sooner than later. We should kiss a Secco pic every day for completing the Diego deal before Kakà moving to Real.

About D'Agostino. Udinese think they have a 25 year old Pirlo. Those mofos are tough negotiators. Props to them and that why you hear a lot of other names linked to us like Ledesma...

I don't think Madrid have an influence on our mercato because we don't go for the same targets. We could watch for some of their players they want to get rid of. Diarra?

The thing with Lippi leaves me perplex. I don't like the fact that we could be turned into the NT and act as puppets to please it. If the Italian players are good then I have no problem but when I hear name like Dossena and in some way Grosso I have doubts on Lippi's choices.

I also think the budget tank is close to empty so we could be waiting for Poulsen, Marchionni, maybe Mellberg according to the latest rumours...to be sold so we can buy again.

I honestly dont know why madrid would want to get rid of M. Diarra. I would think he would be a certain starterin their midfield given their defensive issues. Gago is not as effective and they dont have anyone else other than the 2 Diarras to solidify their mid..

    ----Higuain----
    Robben--Kaka--Ronaldo
    -----Lass---Diarra-----

that would be tough to beat.

Then it'll be hard to use Diego, etc... I doubt he's going to change it immediately, at least at the beggining he's going to try that formation.
Why? Wingers would open up the play and give Diego more space to play in, which would be to his advantage.

    Didn't Wolfsburg play with wingers?
