That's right, I meant our budget is limited and he's still twice cheaper than the likes of Silva and if I were to choose, I'd like to see Giovinco with Malouda as his backup on the left and a purchase of Rafinha than to see Silva on the left with Grygera on the right...
So you really believe that if we get malouda, Gio would be a starter ahead of him!!

i think first of all ranieri should decide in which position giovinco should play
ranieri seems to favourite the left wing, while gio says he prefers to be a 2nd attacker so something has to be done about that first

Remember what ranieri said when asked after the bologna game if Gio is nedved's replacement and he said it clearlly "No". And you honestly think that we'll spend this summer's transfer money on a backup left winger ?

It's pretty clear, ranieri don't see Gio as a winger he probably see him more of a del piero replacement (or maybe he don't have any plan for the guy) no one really know. Am pretty sure if DC was not injured we'd see him ahead of Gio on that left side.

So you are fed up of all the foreigners coming over here and taking British jobs?

I read The Times and The P & J (local paper).
Not really because I would be being hypocritical to my family who came from another country. If anything it's down to english peoples laziness and lack of will, I'm not saying all English are but there is a lot of them around.

Well, Giovinco isn't a "new Nedved" or a strict left wide midfielder for sure and Malouda wouldn't have been his direct substitute in my opinion. Ranieri could use Gio in a more advanced role, a wing-forward in 4-3-3 maybe and Malouda, who provides more physical presence in the midfield, as an option when he wanted to go back to 4-4-2 system. I think he'll be more willing to use Giovinco after matches against Chelsea and Bologna, at least at home matches.

And no, I dont't think we'll spend this summer transfer money on a backup left winger, I even stated it's unlikely we'll buy him, so may you stop imputing me things?
