Lille midfielder Michel Bastos has shrugged off speculation linking him with Bayern Munich and insisted he is happy at the Ligue 1 club.
The Brazilian has impressed for the northern outfit since joining them from Atletico Paranaense in 2006.
It has been reported his form has caught the eye of several European big guns with Bayern leading the chase for the 25-year-old, but Bastos insists he is happy at Lille for now.
"I've just extended my contract (until 2012) and aim to stay here as long as possible," he said.
"My head is in Lille and nowhere else.
"I like to enjoy my game and that's what I do in Lille. I am respected by all the coaches and the players.
"I am a football fanatic and I won't go somewhere else to sit on the bench. I know that I can play a lot here. It's no use going elsewhere not to play."
Bastos refused to rule out a move at some point, however, if he felt it was in the best interests of the club.
He added: "If it's a good deal for Lille and for me anything is possible, but I certainly won't fight to leave."

I guess he'll only leave for a high transfer fee and a guaranteed starting spot-if only we'd give him that opportunity

I'd rather us sign Bastos than Malouda.
