I'm bored...

Buffon
Rafinha-Kjaer-Chiellini-Molinaro
Marchisio - Sissoko - Tiago
Rossi - Giovinco
Amauri

Players in Italy who could be interesting:

CBs
Kjaer:Even though he is really young(1989) he impresses in his first Serie A season, plays like a veteran.
Canini:Always was a great talent and was already on his way to a big club 2 seasons ago. However a serious injury stopped him,he is finding his form again though and is one of the best young Serie A CBs.
Bellusci:He is a huge talent according to the Italian Juve forums, never seen him play personally.
Bocchetti:Is underrated in my eyes,I always liked him with the Azzurrini and is a starter for Genoa nowadays.

RBs:
Zuniga:His technique is quite impressive for a wingback, good going forward and not too shabby defending.Could be a cheap alternative to the obvious, expensive choices.

LBs:
Criscito: Is having a good season at Genoa,a must comeback for next season and we're set at LB with an improving Molinaro.

and the list of really talented players goes on:Fiorillo,Marilungo,Pisano,Poli(!),Guarente,Britos,Morimoto,Cigarini...

He was pretty good offensively. didn`t see much of his goods at the back but I didn`t see errors from him eigther
BTW Siena were very unfortunate as they dictated the pace untill the 70th minute unlucky to concede 5 goal
defensively he was doing too much work for himself, trying to dribble his way out of trouble, which can sometimes mean dribbling into trouble.

well we do still got Criscito. And I do not think DC is going anywhere.

What do you guys think about the talk of a Benzema-Trezeguet swap. I think that would be amazing for us. Trez is awesome but Benzema is wicked and is one of the best players in the world.

Could u imagine in 2 or 3 years how good we could be with an attack of:

Cassano--Benzema
-------Giovinco------

We would have one of the most powerful attacks in world football with that and could realistically aim for the CL every season :agree:
I tried bringing that rumor up yesterday and no on responded:stuckup:
Regardless, I would swap them two out in a heart beat. Benzema fed killer passes by Cassano and Giovinco...I would enjoy that indeed!

Haha...I bought them in FM (the 3 bold at the bottom):D

Criscito is having a good season, I agree. I can't wait for him to play next to Chiellini. Lets say we get Eboue/Criscito free and spend on Kjaer/Canini/Bellusci (either one of them), what a future for our defense. I liked your formation with Rossi, it has been a while since anyone has brought him up I think, I would take out Tiago though, at least not a starter and I will go out on the limb here and say Benzema up top because I believe everything I read in the news:agree:

As well as new defenders I am really concerned about getting a new right winger unless were going to play 4-3-3. We are really lacking in quality on the right wing.

We lack right sided players more than left backs or left wingers. In Molinaro, Criscito, De Ceglie and Giovinco we have different types of players, all of them good enough to contribute in some way and all have age on their side. Giovinco's shown that he has what's necessary to (indirectly) take Nedved's role in the team. Maybe not Nedved of 2003 just yet but he's an improvement on what we've had for the past 2 seasons.

It's Camoranesi that I am worried about. Considering how injury prone he's become, can we rely on Marchionni and Salihamidzic to be consistent enough to cover for Camo in a 4-4-2? In a 4-3-3, Mauro would slot in at midfield. When injured, Tiago could fill in for him at the expense of width, something which could be solved by acquiring a competent right back.

My priorities:

1. A versatile midfielder capable of filling in for Camo. Silva possibly could add some width on the right, but I'm not sure it's wise to buy a player only to play him out of position. It would have to be someone who could coexist with Giovinco. Hleb maybe? Hamsik? (indirectly) These players would keep the balance in the midfield, unlike Diego.

There's also the possibility that we play a 4-3-3 and acquire someone like Cassano or Rossi as a right forward, like Ranieri did with Parma. Rossi - Budan - Gasbarroni. Rossi - Amauri - DP/Gio. Not impossible, especially considering our abundance of central midfielders.

2. A right back. With 3 hardworking midfielders (Sissoko, Marchisio + Tiago/Poulsen/Zanetti), regardless of formation, we could afford playing a more attacking right back to provide width on that flank. Rafinha, Zuniga, Eboué?

3. Recall Criscito and/or buy Kjaer. Legro and Mellberg can do a job until someone younger takes over. No need to pay big money for a CB - I can't think of any who would be available anyway. Maybe one of Chelsea's many reserves, such as Ivanovic or Alex.

My two cents. Nothing new really.

if we go for a new LB i say Grosso....He is older but if we have him start and Molinaro sub he can react Grosso's play when he retires or leaves....Grosso always impressed me when i see him playn for the Azzurri..i think Moli can learn from grosso
Here we go again

but Bellusci is a DONE DEAL right? :D

Kjaer would be great though. Maybe we'll play a 3-4-3 with Gasperini next season and need both Kjaer and Bellusci. :p

He seems promising.. Knezevic out and Bellusci in would be nice.
But I like Ariaudo alot I would love to see him play beside Chiellini in the future.. maby next season if he shows he is ready.

Have you heard something about Bellusci?

That really is a very good option other than spending a lump sum on the Neddy replacement. With the offense build around Seba, getting a player of Helb's versatility is indeed ideal.

He wont cost as much as Silva/Ribery/Deco and the cash can be invested on a very good RB or any other position that requires reinforcement.
