no one is over rating moli, he has played well as of late. Chiellini has been poor lately, why isn't anyone bashing him? I don't understand some people, its like its stuck in their head that Moli will never be good and that even though Chiellini has made costly errors this season it fails to be a topic of discussion, it always gets redirected to moli somehow.

exactly, credit is given when its due.

The overrating on Molinaro is not only pathetic, but disgusting too...
The injured Essien, a DM could dribble him all day long, if Moli was nearly as good defensively, as some of you claim him to, he would have stepped the crosses and drive in from our left flank and the second Chelsea goal, wouldnt have happened...
Thats harsh, Molinaro played rather well against Chelsea, don;t recall seeing Essien dribbling him.

overrating? Molinaro has deserved nothing but credit for what he has put into the team in the last month or 2, i personally thought his game against chelsea in mid week was perhaps his best yet, even some of his crossing was excellent, he certainly made ashley cole look rather average for a player many reguard as one of the best left backs in the world.

My thoughts too...

I've always said that Moli is having a good season by his standards at least. I still think he's a talentless footballer though, just a strong player and a hard worker. He's still not good enough.
But he is improving;)

As much as i hate the cashley hole, and as much as i hate to say this. But he's still twice the player Molinaro is.

He's improved drastically over last season thats for sure. But he still is not good enough, a few strong displays do not cancel the fact he's an average player that cannot cross, cannot attack and is a clumsy defender.

the point that i was making that even when cole has a bad or average run of games, he is highly reguarded by many, but when molinaro has had an excellent string of game he still gets slated. I dont see what more Molinaro has to do to please some of you to break the anti molinaro mould, f*ck sake guys we should be pleased he's improving and be encouraged by this. Hell i was one of his greatest critics for most of the season, but his work rate and determination to prove his critics wrong is admirable.

You're mistaking me for Cronios apparently :p

If you look up my posts, i have given him credit when its due, i do think he's improved a lot, but he needs to improve much more if he were to be good enough.

His work rate and determination were always there, even last year when he was extremely poor.

Clumsy yes, but those moments are fewer and farer between now. His crossing is MUCH better than last year, I will give you he still is an average player...He is a good tackler but you could also say Chiellini is clumsy too especially with his right foot and some tackles.

He has had more "strong displays" this season, I still think he will continue to improve to at least hopefully an above average player, he is by no means a Phillip Lahm.

Good point but I never said I want him to be a starter forever. I like Molinaro but should the chance ever arise that we could get a player like Clicy or Lahm hell yeah I would do it, but LBs seem to be in short supply so unless you have another option in mind we should stick with Moli:sick:

Moli isn`t as bad as lots of you suggest but he is still miles away from being a great player.

Maxwell as I suggested before is solid defensively and quite a good crosser and also can create not to mention he has the ability to play as left midfielder when needed a place we don`t have much of a depth Nedved is retiring this season and Giovinco might be a great player and a great prospect but I still think he need to work on his defensive aspect to be considered as a long term replacement for Nedved at LM

I personally don't believe you guys should buy a leftback. I think De Ceglie can be developed into a fine fullback. He's lacking in the defensive side of the game, but imo that comes with games and experience.

in truth, nearly any full back can play on their side of midfield these days
