I don't want my fullbacks to be turned inside out by an opponent as they please, I don't want them being caught in front too much when their counter, I don't want them to miss the ball on defensive corners and get scored on because they can't reach it because too small or just plain sucks at it...What so lame about that? What you want is a Maicon type player. They don't really exist or would cost 50m €+.
Andreas Beck is good in both and makes good crosses and runs. You don't want that? Oh yeah, what you want is Cristiano Ronaldo and play him at RB.

Maybe they consider it as a given having one who can do that. Nobody want a guy who just stays at the back. Pessotto did that well but you need more now but for me he shouldn't just know the attack part of the game but also don't look like an idiot. Grygera rarely makes any runs so that's why I prefer a player like Zebina. We can find players that can do both. Defend well and attack once in a while in the game like Zebina for example.
