Now when Amauri can't score, Iaquinta is good in one match and terrible in another, DP is injured and Trez is Trez... Fabiano would be great :D

Because he's a great forward.
Yeah but is he better than amauri, Iaquinta, trezeguet ?!!

Don't think so, why would we be spending a fortune on a player when we allready have better attackers than him Plus he's allready 28 years old.

He's not young and he's not better than our attackers.

Great buy don't you think :shifty:

Out of curiosity, what do you think makes them better than him right now?
Its my personal opinion i believe that they're better.

We can argue all day long on who's better than who but my point is even if he is better than our attackers he's definately not better by much. So does it make sence to spend on a 28 year old slightly better attacker to replace ours ?!

Yes he is better than Iaquinta (as Iaquinta misses too much) he is better than Trez (aside from scoring he actually appears in the game and it wouldn`t look like we play with 10 men with him)
and altough Amauri has great potential he doesn`t produce what we expect from him+ did he score the 20 goals we expected him to score?! isn`t it the reason why we signed him?!

Nilmar's story/situation reminds me a lot of Fabiano I wonder if he'll turn out as good.
I don`t think they are the same kind of players Nilmar is more of a support striker from what I understand while Fabiano is a striker
And from what Iv`e seen (I know its only youtube but I don`t say this on any youtube video that I see) this Nilmar guy is going to be awesome great control doesn`t look like he falls too much (Giovinco like), and has a great eye for assists
I would be extremely happy if we sign him altough I must admit he needs more experience at top level before actually playing for us (maybe loan him before we play him)

True enough. Though we really need to asses how great or good our attackers really are.

Is there a "hidden" reason why he wouldn't want him Mark?
Lol, there really isn't any hidden reason. I just don't think he could provide as much as some other players. Gonna continue down.

We can do better. :p

Age doesn't have to mean a lot. So what if he's 28 years old? Essien will be 27 in 2 months and I bet 95% would welcome him here. Fabiano could play 4 more seasons with us which is fine. And I'd say he's better striker than Iaquinta who I'd keep as a back-up if we're going to sell Trez this summer. I think we'd get a lot goals with him as I think he can take every chance, good finisher...even though I doubt we'll go after him.

I'd rather track some striker that we know about (Fabiano etc.), with good or rather crazy goal record than some player like Dzeko who's just a potential now and who would cost a lot too probably.

He will be at least 29 if we sign him, and we don't really have any young forwards. I do think he would be more reliable than all our strikers though.

Fabiano would cost about 18 million no?.
I thought Sevilla rejected an offer of around that in the summer from Milan. If he can get them to 3rd then that will go up again (and the world cup performance too).
