Yeah it must be real hard having quality players besides you as to having Denilson,Song & Diabi.

I never said Fabregas was better but rather that i would take him over Xavi, given the choice. Are you suggesting Fabregas wont get any better?:howler:
You said he was the best CM in the world so you did!
I can't tell the future neither can you

But let's not forget that Cesc is just 22 and still has room for improvement. Also Cesc has been played with some rather poor midfielders and is carrying way too much responsibility in Arsenal's midfield. Xavi wasn't as good as Cesc was at 22, and that also has to count for something.
Say's who ?!! The guy was playing for Barca and no offense Fred it is much harder to be a starter for a team like barca than arsenal. Check the young players that have played for barca in this summer's friendlies and you'll see players who have absalute huge potential yet they can't get a starting spot in the team.

Any of those young players would be stars under someone like wenger in arsenal.

Xavi right now is the better, more complete, more mature version of Fabregas. He's at his peak and is probably the best central midfielder in the world right now.

hmm, interesting, i remember saying for the last year and a bit that Xavi was the best in the world and lots of folk(not you Fred) disagreeing with me. right now there is no question who i would take
in all honesty though Fabregas can still improve, but now i wonder if he will fulfil his potential at Arsenal with having to be the "old head" in there,Arsenal need a Vieira type player to bring the best out or Cesc or risk him getting frustrated and moving away

I hope he gets frustrated and Barca miss out the chance on him and we snap up Fabregas

I we win the CL, cescs head would be turned, but he's not worth more than 30million euro irrespective.
If Melo worth 20 than Fabregas worth 40
Fabregas is very young and awesome someone like him who can still improve and already one of the best in his role (the best IMO) for 30M would be worth it
+We could always sell him to Real for 80M

Yet he didn't play a WC at the age of 20 or a Euro at the age of 22, did he?

I'm not saying international call-ups determine who the better player is, but Cesc at 18-22 is a better and more mature player than Xavi was at 18-22

Please find the post where i said Fabregas is the best CM in the world. You know you cant because i never said it,i merely said i would choose Fabregas over Xavi.Fabregas has proven himself at a young age,in a foreign league & performed when his fellow midfielders failed around him.

You said some players dont get better with age,now considering this argument is all about Fabregas & Xavi, its pretty clear that you think Fabregas wont get any better with age.Fabregas has performed from word go at Arsenal & has only better getting better with time.So unfortunately for you, your analysis is way off.
