I'd like to think its more to making that decision than the money involved. Sure it helps but if we have a great year (especially defensively) I could see him being more inclined to show his stuff next to possibly one of the best CBs in the game and in front of the best goalie in the game. A young player dreams to play next to those kinds of players, not in front of Dida or next to players like Favalli. I think Kjaer would seriously consider an offer from us, regardless if Milans his higher.

I agree with Dusan, pay the money. He is worth it and if we are willing to pay that knowing that financially we aren't as strong as Milan will also show that we are committed and have faith in him. There are different angles you need to look at, I would like to think that a young talent like him would be looking out for more than just money. If we do well this year, like I said earlier especially in defense, then I don't see why he would object to a move to a team with a new stadium, long term project and a clear vision. Right now Milan would look far too unstable for me to want to go to when my career is just blossoming. Looking out for his best interests will go behind money, especially if he wants a successful career. Look at Gourcuff/Flamini...younger talents not doing so well there.

We show more faith I think to youngsters than Milan do in terms of play time with Pato their only exception.

I really think that either Higuain or Benzema will be leaving Real Madrid next year and either one would be awesome.
Benzema just joined? :confused2 Or do you think he will be a major flop?

I prefer Higuain though.

“I haven’t had any direct information from Juve, but it is still pleasing to know such a big club is interested.”
How did he find that out?

He is one hell of a player, but I still prefer GH.

Because their defense is falling apart and they could get rid of 3-4 players on that place, they need something fresh. Kjaer is not good, he's a perfect defender...at least he was so far. When I watched him I couldn't simply believe he was 19 because he had everything need...and because of that, if he keeps it on this level, I wouldn't be surprised if some club (Milan) offers him 4mln/year and a 5 year deal.

Maybe I overrate him, maybe, but I think he's totally worth all that money.
Yeah Kjaer does make a good impression

Not sure Palermo would sell this dude at the first place, with all these Scudetto winning talk and they are investing for young players i think it will take more than 20 mil to land this guy for sure.

I would like Kjaer, but IMO he is getting quite overyhyped, he is still bit raw and not completely ready for the big time yet. Not a perfect defender as described, for example, his main achilles heel is that he is quite slow, that will expose him a bit.

how is Zapata doing after his injury last season?

anyway I don't think we'll be able to get him for a good price after D'Agostino saga.

I think you're wrong but we'll see. :p

I think he's already 2x better than overrated Zapata already.

I agree with that (Zapata I seen being made fool of too much), and that that he is a quite impressive talent, and prolly will go next summer, but IMO y'll should hold your horses, being deemed perfect or having everything one needs is clear overhyping (as I said, good example is his lack of pace). Despite being fine defender so far, he still has lots to prove.
