Personally i was a big fan of his before his injury. He's a fine fullback. Offensively he is brilliant, he's got a really good cross on him. His defending can be suspect at times, but imo his development stagnated at Toulouse. He wanted to leave two years ago and he wanted to leave last summer but the Toulouse officials were too stubborn. His defending can improve. Evra himself wasn't a great defender with Monaco but developed himself well in Man Utd.

He hasn't really got back to form ever since last seasons injury tbh, so at this point he would really be a risky investment.
What kind of injury he had that made him can't get back to his performance again?
He is free agent next summer, right...? why can he be risky investment??

Foot injury. He isn't really free, you won't be paying a transfer fee but you'll be paying his salary.

I'm not saying he can't get back to form, i'm just saying its been a whole calender year since his injury and he's still not back to his former self.

The media are linking us with Sneijder again.Let's steal any of their dutchmen.
Sneijder is being linked with a move away due to his complete lack of professionalism, let's not

Problem with Sneijder is that he doesn't really have a defined role on the team. Every time I see him he drifts around the pitch and attempts difficult passes or spectacular shots. He's not a winger, nor is he your typical central midfielder. I think his best role would be next to two defensive minded players, but even then he is inconsistent.

For the right price, he would still be worthy of consideration.

On his day, he is one of the best midfielders around.

:agree:

Left-ish but with freedom to drift into central areas.
Which is where he's played at Real, yet he still doesn't perform up to standard.
