yeah, but never gave any attention that much attention to their music though.

This album any good ?
Good? Good is not the good word I guess. I mean, it's a totally psychedelic rock-opera, in the most pure Pink Floyd style.
People like it or don't, but it's clear that this is one of the most influential albums ever released.
Everyone who cares about music should at least hear it once.

    Pink Floyd'd way too overrated.
You never heard the wall. Its like an orgasmic feast on the ears. Its like sex on your ears.

Fli, I love the trial, but In the flesh has to be my favourite.

    wow! floyd fans here! :toast:

i'd have to agree darkside is much better, but the wall is not that much far behind. it's a album you gotta listen from the first to the last second, you have to pay attention to it. if you like listening to singles and stuff, than this album is by no means for you, or any other pink floyd album for that matter. you gotta listen to the album as a whole, right from in the flesh to outside the wall. this is a opera of rock, it needs dedication people!

as for the best song, it has got to be "mother" and "comfortably numb". and the movie was awesome imo, but i don't think anyone who's not a floyd fan would enjoy it tbh.

to all those that say one of the most original and influental bands is overrated: :faq1:

same can be said about so many of their songs. some one said that, and its true, you haev to listen to whole albums at once to get the best impression, but oh so many of their songs are simply genius..

nope unfortunatelly never, and i ain't keeping my hopes up. i did however watch the pulse concert off the dvd numerous times and i reccomended it to anyone that hasn't seen it. probably the best live show ever made, not only because of the music but because of the stage performance, effects... a master piece.
