CALCIO: GIUDICE SETTORE GIOVANILE FIGC LASCIA INCARICO
Roma, 15 lug. (Adnkronos) - ''Non intendo in questa sede approfondire il merito della sentenza. E' il metodo usato, nel processo e con il processo, che mi induce a urlare: il diritto e' un'altra cosa! Non mi interessa far parte di questo mondo. Voglio continuare a indignarmi.

Judge quits after yesterday's decision. Didn't like the "methods" they used. He doesn't want to be part of that world. They should find another judge.

Good for him. Shows that something was fishy with yesterday's decision.

Blues edging Cannavaro race
- Clubcall, UK

Today's hot off the press transfer rumours. Some spot on. A few still in the balance. Others best taken with the proverbial pinch of salt.

Following yesterday's guilty verdict in the Serie A corruption scandal a host of big-name players from relegated Juventus, Fiorentina and Lazio could be heading to the Premiership, not least victorious Azzurri captain Fabio Cannavaro , who will move to Chelsea as a direct replacement for Robert Huth .

Even though the German's move to Middlesbrough collapsed, Harry Redknapp's Portsmouth, seemingly in the hunt for any centre back, will put in a £5 million bid.

Another defender on the move possible to Pompey is Olof Mellberg , but the Aston Villa skipper may fancy a return to Spain after being told he is surplus to requirements at Villa Park.

Back to Italy and Tottenham are proving they love collecting strikers, with Fiorentina hitman Luca Toni being lined up to partner Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov in attack, while Jermain Defoe should not feel so glum about missing out on England's World Cup campaign, he's off to Old Trafford in a as a £15 million replacement for Real Madrid-bound Ruud van Nistelrooy .

Not to be outdone, Jose Mourinho is still eyeing up Roberto Carlos , but may have his head turned by the availability of two of the world's premier left-backs, Ashley Cole and Gianluca Zambrotta , although the Juventus player may choose to follow former manager Fabio Capello to the Bernabeu.

The biggest Serie A capture could be Arsenal's however, with Arsene Wenger set to bid for the world's most expensive goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and bring a premature end to Jens Lehmann's north London career.

Bianconeri midfielder Mauro Camoranesi will finally solve Rafael Benitez's right-wing problems at Liverpool, while full-back Daniel Alves expects to complete his £8 million move from Seville to Anfield later this week.

And Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce could be set for the double blow of losing first choice centre backs Sylvain Dystin and youngster Micah Richards , with both players off to Boro and Chelsea respectively.

So it is.

I expected them, they would not stay beside the whole story with Abramovich as the buyer.

it isnt offical but ruud has agreed to the deal

Man Utd's Van Nistelrooy agrees Real Madrid deal
tribalfooball.com - July 15, 2006

Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has agreed a three-year deal with Real Madrid.

United boss Alex Ferguson admitted: "He has asked away. There might be some interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich."

The Spaniards have offered £11million but United are insisting on £16m even though he was banished from Old Trafford by Ferguson at the end of last season.

Despite Bayern's interest, Real are in pole position after agreeing to meet the Dutch striker's £80,000-a-week wage demands.

His agent, Rodger Linse, admits he has been in talks with new Real president Ramon Calderon and insists Van Nistelrooy is desperate for United to let him go before pre-season training.

Linse said: "Ruud hopes to announce his new club before July 24 as that's the day that he would have to report back in Manchester.

"I'll only confirm stories when Manchester United have agreed terms with another club."

Valencia move for Juventus midfielder Camoranesi
tribalfooball.com - July 14, 2006

Valencia sports director Amadeo Carboni has approached Juventus about Mauro Camoranesi's availability.

The Italy World Cup winner was expected to be sold before the Calciopoli scandal broke last season and Carboni is keen to bring him to Spain.

Along with Valencia, Bayern Munich have also asked after Camoranesi this week. Carboni remains active in the Italian market as he attempts to offload trio Stefano Fiore, Bernardo Corradi and Marco Di Vaio.

It might be more about pressure on them to get a verdict than any dodgy pressure for a particular result. Any more detail in the article? My Italian is non-existent.

No more details,Mikhail, the article is short and he(the lawyer) said in

the final part:

....he (lawyer) writes it in a letter to the commissary of Figc Guido Rossi, with which it announces the intention of leaving the task of federal judge for the juvenile and educational sector.

He is indignant by the whole process.

I really don't know how it is possible,I mean that is just one day after the sentence.I don't know why is he indignant, but that is the part we will never find out.

They're only buying Zlatan to use his nose as a sundial so they could count the hours of Juves return to Serie A. :D
