How do you define something like that? Never join a first team tournament during the season that's not organized by UEFA/FIFA unless sanctioned by the FA? Sounds very restricting to clubs

Should have called it the Save Football League and the had the infrastructure payments trickle down to the various leagues and FAs as a form of football stimulus.

He was shocked they tried it, and failed that quick, but he was generally neutral or indifferent until he could know more or how it works. Generally thought they weren't serious, and again using it as negotiation tactic for more CL revenue spread.


His main reaction was amusement of Florentino Perez channeling his inner Vince McMahon, and going on full comical media offense (and same time shocked UEFA were being that aggressive, especially Ceferin going all Jerry Springer on Andrea Agnelli).



He is a Real Madrid fan, so unlike us Juve fans he really doesn't have a worry about the future at all (despite corona issues), so he or his fellow fans are hardly likely to have the desperate need for this thing to happen like Juve fans or Milano clubs. Their main worry is when are they gonna get Mbappe, not if...
