What you think is the saddest songs you've heard, this looks like one cheesy thread but whatever heh

My choices would be:

The Cure – Boys Don't Cry
Jeff Buckley – Last Goodbye
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
Radiohead – Street Sprit
Cream – White Room
Cream – Born Under a Bad Sign
Pearl Jam – Last Kiss
Count Five – Psychotic Reaction
Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun

    radiohead-creep wasnt mentioned yet?

two songs have had a terribly intense impact on me emotionally- both by squarepusher "iambic 5 poetry" and "iambic 9 poetry"

of course, they need a deep, concentrated listen and full attention to have that effect.

    dire straits-brothers in arms
led zeppelin-since i've been loving you
pink floyd-the great gig in the sky(the saddest song to me, just puts me down)
    pink flyod-comfortably numb
deep purple-when a blind man cries
    pink floyd-mother

these are just a few that come to mind first, a lot of floyd songs would fit into this category well. and as jeeks said bob dylan, his presence alone is sad enough. :D
