at the same time we have zanetti and nocerino to do any filtering and frankly im not prepared to see nocerino go.

I wish, but Tiago isn't nearly as effective defensively. I hope Tiago proves me wrong though, as that would mean we wouldn't need to buy Emerson or field one of Zanetti and Nocerino.

i get this funny feeling that blasi will piss off to udinese, and zanetti will take up bottom in the pecking order and replace blasi with emo

so basically emo will partner tiago/almiron which sounds like that could work nocerino and zanetti as backup.

I agree completely. We don't need an attacking mid/playmaker. If we get one it would make the signings of Almiron and Tiago pointless tbh. Getting a defensive midfielder, though not absolutely necessary, would make more sense than an attacking mid.

Makelele > Emerson though.

Emo would join us as a starter, that transfer would cancel our plans and transfer policy so far, even if we sell Blasi and loan Nocerino, still that wouldnt be a right choice to sign Emo, that would be a waste of space and money to have subs like Emo+Zanetti at this stage, when there are some certain places our team still suffers of decent starters and back up solutions...
