Once again great words from Emerson, he's certainly the nicest surprise of all our "traitors". I gained great respect for this so called mercenary ever since he left for Madrid. I'd take him back for a reasonable price.
True he also gained a lot of plus points in my book but at 32 our youngsters need & derserve the chance to prove themselves.Other than that Emo is a whole lot better than Lillian "assjob" Thuram.

I'd prefer if we get Mavuba most of all but Emerson would certainly add some much needed experience in our midfield. Emerson, Zanetti, Mavuba and Paro would be perfectly fine by me, Marchisio is not ready for Serie A IMO. Youngsters are great and all but it's worth nothing without experienced world class players to guide them, we could get a lot more out of Emerson.

I think we should, if not to expensive, sign him.
The youngsters can learn from him and will be ready for the task after two seasons or so, i don't think they are good enough yet to bring us to the highest level right away, and Emo is perfect to fill that gap of two seasons.

I agree with Vlatko that we need one new experienced and one new upcoming player in that position. If we don't get Frings I have nothing against Emerson. He does his job and is already familiar with the club, the city, the country and many players.
