I hate programming, its an extremely dull subject, don't know how you coders actually enjoy it :luckyluke:

Well I could say the same thing about most occupations. The best thing about coding is the fact that you're creating something. And it's not something subjective like art or music, where you can debate for hours whether it's good or not, code has criteria by which you can tell if it's good.

I can see how you don't experience much excitement coding a billing system, but when you have ideas of your own you want to do, that's really fun.

I tried to, but its all blabber blabber about creating things from nothing and how a programmer is like a poet. I have many friends that are programmers, i can tell you there is nothing farthest than the truth than that statement

Like i said, i didn't even read it, just a fast scan. I saw poet and programmer in the same sentence and i automatically made my assumption.

I hate English poetry. Arabic poetry is a whole different story though.

pah, pretentious bs. worst of all is not the poetry but the people who love it and read all kinds of stupid meanings into it that aren't there at all. it's like abstract art, people look at it and start hallucinating that they can see stuff in it while it's just a straight line on a white canvas

I like music, but I listen to music for the music, not the lyrics. I think this is true for most people, even if they don't realize it. Basically if the music is good enough the lyrics don't really matter much, unless they're seriously retarded.

I also listen to a lot of music that doesn't have lyrics.
