Not that I'm defending the referee,but what if he thought the ball hit the inward crossbar?And that's why the goal was allowed..instead of when the ball hit the ground?

It could well be related to betting,but something like this is way too fr fetched even for a bet.

yeah i would agree with you but the angle the ball drops from it would be impossiblle for it to hit the inside of the crossbar!
