First I saw the thread I started to have a strangely bad feeling. This "out of the blue" thing made me think that you might be leaving the forums and I thought I was going to read a farewell.

When Marty assigned quite a few members as moderators some years back, you, Andy and Rab were those whose appointments shocked me. You were all charismatic but I was very much doubtful if any of you would be able to handle the job properly. Rab (alongside with myself) was busy fighting with Ale' bashers, Andy was being his extremist self fighting with half of the forum and you had your fair share of heated arguments with people here and there. I thought we would be seeing a real battlefield here since the day you three took over the moderating job. Andy ended up in a normal user after a short while [] and Rab is still having fights with everyone who thinks Del Piero isn't as fast as Usain Bolt [] but it was different with you. Power was added to your wit and you became the craziest moderator the forums has ever had since the first day I joined.

Isn't it just awesome that you outvoted the other nominees for the best moderator award while everyone was very well aware of your capability of being the most annoying creature on the whole planet at times? It just shows how people appreciate you, your presence and what you've done to the forums even though I'm sure there's barely a member who hasn't had tense moments with you. This is how you mean to us.

Now, I'm not a Seven fan by any means. Rarely have I been agreed with him on the religious debates (which is in fact the main reason he's banned now). However, what he got was too unfair in my opinion. Forget about his name for a moment. If it was JBF getting banned in the way Andries got banned I'd have still been saying the same shit: "If I was about to choose, I'd prefer to have JBF back". Unban Andries.

It's nice to have you around Jack. You're the first one here with whom I shared the hatred for Barcelona. Never ever think of leaving the forums :smile:
