Fli, you are forgetting that Milan has many more primadonnas than Eastern Europe. Millionaire players get hurt when the grass is not cut evenly, while Easterners are used to hardship and are mentally tough.

lol.

i get the sarcasm in your posts but sheva is easterner.

Actually, I was not being sarcastic. Also, Sheva is an easterner and I do not consider him a primadonna. However, he could certainly become soft by staying away from Ukraine too long :D

I am reminded to the Manchester Utd. - Juventus CL semifinal at Old trafford in 1999. Juve's Serbian defender Zoran Mirkovic completely erased Beckham from the match. Why? Because while Beckham was comfortably fvking a spice girl, Mirkovic's homeland was being bombed by NATO forces. This made him strong

bullshit. have you seen a pitch in east european country? most poor clubs train on the ground with no grass. and they play. you cant blaim injuries on the quality of the pitch, maybe some of them.
First I didn't say it is THE worst pitch..!! I said it is one of the worst in europe..there is a difference.. :)

san siro's pitch is one of the worst in europe..
and you said it yourself... milan pitch does suck.. ;)

well yes thats true but it'd be a bit unfair to say few milan/inter/bigclub players have not gone through any 'hardship'... well maybe not physically but surely life's not as easy as it seems for them since they're stars and they have to deal with the Italian media etc, they have expectations and all, that can't be easy ....

but I'm not denying some are primadonnas :D

Furio Bianconero is here is take you to task. Only I know anything about Wanking. Lac thinks his Masturbationism beats my Wanking, but I've been wanking since before Lac was born. Lac thinks he invented the old "Load in the Punch Bowl" trick, but I was spanking into people's beverages back in the 1980's. I'm Furio Bianconero and I whack it good.

The possibility of building a smaller but better conceived stadium on the outskirts of Turin has not been put aside though. In fact, if Italy were to host a major tournament in a near future (say, Euro 2012), the italian government might very well allocate the necessary funds for this project.

Or Juve could also buy and build a new stadium on their own before that. This would result in the destruction of the Delle Alpi and in Torino's return to their beloved and glorious Filadelfia.
Is the Filadelfia the old ground they had in the 50s?

    mikhail,

Yes the Filadelfia was the stadium of the legendary Toro who won 5 successive domestic titles just after the war, before the tragic plane crash at Superga that deprived us of a blessed generation of football players. I think it used to be their home ground until WC 1990, when the horrendous Delle Alpi was built.

They are working on it, though. Toro will return home. And, you can say all kind of shit about Delle Alpi (and most of it would be true), but the pitch has always been in good shape. So, stick that in your arse and smoke it.

The main problem I have with the Delle Alpi is that it is a typical product of 1980's Italy, a period where the booming economy allowed for the christian democrats and their socialist arsebandits to lavishly spend money on the most hare-brained projects, like for instance a 70 000 capacity stadium with as good a visibility as in Bettino's Craxi's rectum.

You could not be further from the truth, Pado.

As you probably don't know, I am a dissident of the Berlusconesque Régime. People like me are labelled as "commies" in Italy. I think Berlusca should stick to being a businessman and keep fuelling Milan with the money that will bring the next Van Basten to us, and all this without interfering with Ancelotti's decisions.

This being said, Berlusconi's fortune precisely originates from the crazy italian 80's, when the then socialist PM Bettino Craxi allowed him to build his media Empire in return for good words in Silvio's newspapers as regards his Premiership.

Berlusca a fascist? Perhaps, albeit a new kind of fascist. I like to call him a posh fascist in fact : the man always looks impeccable, he shakes hands and always smiles, but at the end of the day he remains a populist right-winger. A posh fascist yes, as opposed to his post-fascist partners in the coalition.

Excellent clarification, Franco. I don't care for his politics, but Berlu is a handsome man with a permanent smile on his face. As I was attending university in the USA in the 80's I am terribly ignorant of the Italian political scene from those days, so I thank you for your information.

So rival fans cursed Juve's good fortune? Seems reasonable. And that grew into conspiracy theories. It is amazing what passed as good luck. When my Italian father curses the good luck of his footballing rivals, he claims that they must have "slept in horse shit the night before the game". I don't want that kind of luck.
