this thread is a joke.
If Capello was a little more flexible then he wouldn't be Capello, he would be somone with no character. It wasn't only capello we lost against Arsenal. Ibrahimovic may have had some bad games, but its no suprise that he will always be chosen as he probides physical and psychological pressure and more so than Del Piero.
I think that Capello has got the most out of Del Piero and even the Del Piero fanatics would agree.

Capello is the type of coach that requires discipline and hard work. His silence is louder than his bark. I think the players and even the fans should get a little more used to this type of discipline.

I think that his criticism was not with your criticism of current management, but rather with your style and manner of reforming the team, and I agree.

It's quite ridiculous to think that we could get any of those players from Real Madrid, or that we'd want them. As for Barcelona selling us Deco and Eto'o, that's just not going to happen. They are both big parts of that team, and they will not be sold. Barcelona finally has it's act together, and they aren't going to screw it up. They might sell us Guily or Van Bommel, though. As for getting Robben in exchange for Zlatan, that's just brainless. How could we pull off that move? Chelsea are not a bunch of morons...
Yes i think his criticism was directed at my writing style but who the hell cares? Okay why is it ridiculous to want Madrid players just because you cannot stand the team? They have some wonderful players, what they dont have, is a team. Barcelona selling us those players is not impossible if you consider they might get Henry, so they can sell Etoo and if you dangle Emerson or Vieira to them, then of cos you can discuss Deco as they can always play Xavi with Iniesta. You do not live in England so i will forgive you that brainless remark. Robben is not a favourite with Cheslea, he was untouchable when he first burst unto the scene but after his injury he has become less favourable to both fans and Mourinho. His displays have been so so but what i like about him is that he has pace and can get behind defenders , something we distinctly lack. As for Zlatan he has not be become useless overnight like some ppl here will have you believe and i do think he could form a great partnership with Drogba and besides Chelsea seem to like him so its not moronic.

@ Sateeh , Salagado and Carlos might have had bad games against Getafe but that doe snot mean they are bad players. I think they are both unhappy at the club at this point in time but they are still of the highest quality in their respective positions
Ps I am not very happy that my thread has been reduced to a Capello thread as its nothing to do with Capello

but dont u think that carlos is more offense oriented and is at times a burden on the rest of the defense ? we r going to have to change his whole mentality to make it more balanced.
Abt robben i still think we dont another zlatan like player in the team.We need team players.

But it is this lacking of offense that has cos us big time in Cl. Yes Carlos goes forward but he has the pace to come back and cover for himself and about Robben, again its the individual magic that we do not have that has cost us. We have very little imagination in our play and without Dp or to a lesser extent Zlatan we are awful wehn it comes to creative ideas and pace wise we cannot move up a gear

i agree abt that but we dont someone who could harm the team more than benefit. there r other players than have to some extent the same qualities but aren't as harmful as robben.

i really think marchionni is a great buy by moggi, he will give us that extra pace and some creativity as well.

buying robben would be brilliant.he can cross, run at great speed, create, dribble and score.what else do you want?

he's a superstar in the making.and not getting him if he's available would be a huge mistake.fine, you do need a team, but there needs to be that bit of individual magic too.robben can give us that.

we missed out on nesta, pirlo and gilardino.all of whom went to milan and made a strong team even stronger.i would hate for us to miss out on robben too.

Capello chews out Juve Wednesday 19 April, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus may be in a Press Silence, but Fabio Capello was spotted shouting angrily at his players during today’s training session.

“If we don’t work hard and put the right effort in, then we may as well all go home,” he blasted at the Sisport training ground.

About time, or misdirected?

Is he blaming the players? I suppose they have to take some of the responsibility. But if you ask me he should be shouting at a mirror to get to the person with the lion's share of the responsibility.

The management screwed him. Or maybe Del Piero who at that time, lets not forget was conisdered his succersor.
