The Italian who won Gold on High Bar was awesome, and he nearly got screwed by Hamm's over-inflated score. They tied but the Italian had the tie-breaker.

Yes, the Italian was very good. It was fun to watch gymnastics during this olympics (apart from the jury on crack), first time I've found it entertaining.

As an American, its hard to say but I find myself rooting against the USA basketball team this year (not that I really care all that much). A horribly constructed team with very unlikeable players. They desereve to lose so maybe next Olympics the federation will send a team, not a bunch of selfish allstars. It is an embrassment, Team USA went 68 years before it lost 2 games and this team has lost 2 out of 4 this year.

what a fantastic game of volleyball in the men's quarterfinals. Greece really should have made a formality of winning the match in the 4th set, but it was more a case of a great USA comeback than Greece choking
